So you've got your special day planned, ceremony prepared, reception venue booked, dress, suits, flowers, cake... But what about a DJ?
Lets face it, you've just spent a great deal of time and money on your wedding to make it perfect, and you want your guests to have a great time too. Anyone can play music, right... sure but playing the right music, at the right time, reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor pumping. Not everyone can do that. We can though. And being in the industry this long you learn how to read the crowd to make sure they're really having a good time. Reading the crowd is a skill that's developed over time and something all my DJ's offer and specialise in.

Birthdays and Functions

From a 21st to an 80th and everything in between, we can offer you a package to suit.
School functions, corporate events or any other event where you want music and to give your guests the ability to let their hair down and dance, we can do it.
Perhaps theres a particular ethnic flavour to the event. Not a problem, like we've already said, we can handle it.

Q. What if my guests have particular ethnic tastes?

A. Indian, Maori, Pacific Island or any of the cultures we have in our diverse country, we're likely to have catered for a similar event before. With our 20+ years experience we've developed large selection of music to draw from.

Q. What if my music preferences aren't exactly 'mainstream'?

A. Our playlist isn't limited to Top 40 or run of the mill dance tracks. We have a large selection of music to draw from and are happy to arrange something to suit your tastes.

Q. What if one of your DJ's doesn't make the grade?

A. Trust me, they will. Theres only a couple of them, both hand picked for the abilities and experience, plus myself of course. We all use the exact same equipment (much of which we offer for sale, for more information see here). We offer the same playlists. And with three of us we're sure to be able to cater for your tastes.

Q. You mentioned 'Reading the Crowd', what do you mean by this?

A. Reading the crowd involves understanding how much the audience is enjoying themselves and getting a feeling for the right track to play next. Being in the industry this long you learn how to read the crowd to make sure they're really having a good time. It's a skill that's developed over time and something all my DJ's offer and specialise in.

Q. I see from your selection that you've got quite a range of music. What if I don't want the old (or alternatively the new) music?

A. We can arrange music to suit your requirements whatever they are. Obviously the audience and music selection for Uncle Alberts 80th is going to be different to Jimmy's 21st and we understand that. We are more than happy to tailor a playlist to suit your event.

Q. How much is a DJ for the night going to cost and how long do I have them for?
